Week 3
THE FLIGHT TRAINING ENVIRONMENT brought to you by
VIEW OUR PRIZE PACKS HERE - See below for how to enter the draw to win!
1. Flight Training Occurrence Review
We take a look at the most common occurrences within dual flight training across 2019.
2. Dangers of a brief de-brief
Learning to fly may be one of the steepest learning curves you embrace in your lifetime.
An instructor can make the difference between a student thriving and a student giving up and walking away.
3. What to Expect During Your BFR?
For active holders of a Recreational Pilot Certificate as issued by Recreational Aviation Australia, the Biennial Flight Review (BFR) is required, as the name implies, every 2 years.
4. COVID and Currency - When to Seek an Instructor
During these uncertain times of Covid-19 and lockdown, you may not have flown for a while and/or you may be 'rusty' in a few areas.
Make sure, before you fly, to check your currency: Are you Safe to Fly?
5. ROTAX ENGINES: Did you know?
Can you operate your rotax engine on condition? Can you operate on airswitch?
6. Aren't all RAAus aircraft Light Sport Aircraft?
No - RAAus register two streams of aircraft: amateur built and manufactured. Manufactured types may be Type Certified or Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) compliant. There is often confusion around this distinction.
Join Mike Hutchinson from BAVS Consulting as we discuss safety management systems and organisational culture for flight training schools
