1. The start date of the competition is 7 October 2021, and the end date is 31 October 2021.
2. The promoter is Recreational Aviation Australia Ltd (RAAus) ABN: 40070931645 ACN: 070 931 645.
3. RAAus will have a number of prizes (as listed here) and the winners will be drawn at random as set out in point 11.
4. RAAus members and subscribers to the RAAus mailing list will be eligible to win all prizes listed except those marked "flying members only" and "maintainers only".
5. For prizes marked “flying members only”, entrants must be a current financial, flying member of Recreational Aviation Australia (RAAus) to win. For prizes marked “maintainers only”, entrants must be a current member of Recreational Aviation Australia (RAAus) and an L1, L2 or L4 maintainer to win. Entries will not be able to be submitted without a membership number and membership will be verified at the time the prize is drawn.
6. Ways to enter:
• RAAus will upload safety information onto our National Safety Month webpage. Members and subscribers will access online activities throughout October and can complete the activity for an entry in the draw. Members can enter multiple times by completing each of the online activities.
• RAAus will hold an online trivia night on Wednesday, 14 October 2021 at 7:30pm AEST. For participating, members and subscribers receive an additional entry into the prize draw.
• RAAus will hold a three-day safety conference from 29-31 October 2021. For each seminar watched during the conference, participants will receive one additional entry into the prize draw.
Grand total of prize pool: $14,503.70
10. The draws will take place at Recreational Aviation Australia Headquarters, Unit 3/1 Pirie St Fyshwick on Friday, 5 November 2021 at 12 noon.
11. Each entry will be assigned a number and a random number generator will be used to select the winner via approved provider TPAL Electronic Draw System (SA Govt Approval Number 1224).
12. Winner will be notified via phone and email within 7 days of the draw.
13. Results will be published on RAAus’ Safety Month webpage and Facebook page.
14. Prize will be shipped to winner via registered courier.
15. If the winners drawn are not a current, financial, flying member of RAAus – for the member only prizes; and a current member (flying or non-flying) for the maintenance prize, that person or persons will be deemed ineligible and a redraw will take place.
16. If the prizes are unclaimed after 30 days, another winner will be drawn on Friday, 3 December 2021 at 12 noon and verified using the same method as point 11. above.
17. Staff and immediate family of RAAus are ineligible to enter.
