How Safe are Ultralight Aircraft?
I have been asked the question “How safe are ultralight aircraft?” many times over the years, and the best answer I can give is it is only as safe as you make it.
If you had asked me that question 40 years ago, I would have said no. In those days it was unregulated with unsafe aircraft, a lot of cowboys and a lot of deaths.
